Scholarship highly recommends that each participant attend at least one of DDC's Summer Intensives. The Artistic Director prefers to have a hands on approach to really get a feel for each student's ability. This has been proven to help the “decision making” process during the audition in the dancers favour.
At the audition participants will be asked to perform a series of techniques across the floor, a centre combination, and free style demo in their strongest form of dance. Dancers will be chosen to participate in the 2012/2013 Scholarship Company while displaying a will to work hard and positive attitude.

The Artistic Director prefers to have a hands on approach to really get a feel for each student's ability. This has been proven to help in the “decision making” process during the audition in the dancers favour.
At the audition participants will be asked to perform a series of techniques across the floor, a centre combination, and free style demo in their strongest form of dance. Dancers will be chosen to participate in the 2012/2013 Scholarship Company while displaying a will to work hard and positive attitude. Selected students will participate in a interview after the audition commences to make sure the student is the right fit for our program. Acceptance to the program will be done via telephone followed up with an email including an official letter of acceptance.
